Summary: A Study of Cardiovascular Safety in Osteoarthritis or Rheumatoid Arthritis Patients

A Randomized, Double-Blind, Parallel-Group Study of Cardiovascular Safety in Osteoarthritis or Rheumatoid Arthrits Patients with or at High Risk for Cardiovascular Disease. This study is using an oral medication that has already been FDA approved.

Patient Inclusion Criteria

  • Male or Female age 18 and older.
  • A diagnosis of Osteoarthritis or Rheumatoid Arthritis has been determined for at least 6 months.
  • With an established risk or high risk for Cardiovascular disease.

Patient Exclusion Criteria

  • If patient has had acute joint trauma.
  • If the patient is taking an anticoagulant or lithium.
