Trial Information

Summary: People with hereditary angioedema are asked to participate in a research study being conducted by Montefiore Medical Center.

You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:

  • Are at least 10 years of age or older
  • Have been diagnosed with HAE (Type I or II)

You may not participate in this study if you:

  • Have had treatment with C1-INH in the last 7 days
  • Have been diagnosed with acquired angioedema (AAE), estrogen-dependent angioedema or drug-induced angioedema (including angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor induced angioedema)
  • Are pregnant, breastfeeding, or intend to become pregnant during the study
  • Have participated in another research study within the last 30 days
