Trial Information
Summary: Volunteers Needed for Research Study on Treatment of Asthma
Researchers at the University of Kentucky Academic Medical
Center, Department of Allergy, are conducting a research study to
test the effects of an investigational drug in people with asthma
who still have symptoms despite treatment with high-dose Advair ®
or similar asthma medications. The study medication will be given
in combination with your current treatment.
You may qualify for this study if:
- you are between 12 and 75 years of age; and
- you are unable to control allergic asthma with standard
treatments like high-dose Advair ® or similar asthma
medications.
Participants will receive study-related care and medication free
of charge and reimbursement for your time and travel.
In addition, participants treated with the investigational drug
may gain relief from their asthma symptoms.
