Trial Information
Summary: A Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled Evaluation of the Safety and Efficacy of RGH-188 in Patients with Acute Mania Associated with Bipolar I Disorder.
Richmond University Medical Center is currently conducting a
research drug study to evaluate its safety and efficacy in subjects
with bipolar disorder.
Inclusion Criteria:
- Are 18 to 65 years old
- Women must be at least 2 years post-menopausal, surgically
sterile, or practicing a medically acceptable method of
contraception and agree to continue to use the same method
throughout the study duration.
Exclusion Criteria:
- Have HIV infection
- Are pregnant, breastfeeding or intend to become pregnant during
the study
- Have participated in another research study within the last 90
days
