Trial Information
Summary: Multiple Sclerosis treated with Betaseron® - Adults
People with multiple sclerosis are asked to participate in a
research study being conducted by the NYU Hospital for Joint
Diseases.
You may be eligible to participate in this study if
you:
- Are between the ages of 18 and 50
- Have been recently diagnosis with multiple sclerosis
You may not participate in this study if
you:
- Have any other neurological disease
- Have heart disease or heart failure
- Have a history of depression or suicidal thoughts
- Have uncontrolled seizure disorder
- Have a history of alcohol or substance abuse
- Are pregnant, breastfeeding, or intend to become pregnant
during the study
- Have participated in another research study within the last 30
days
