Summary: Adolescent Schizophrenia

Does your child have Schizophrenia?

The Psychopharmacology Research Clinic at LSU Health Sciences Center-Shreveport is currently enrolling teenagers 12-17 years old in a clinical research study in the treatment of patients with schizophrenia.

Study Participants Must Be:

  • 12-17 years of age
  • Experiencing symptoms that may include: - having strange thoughts, unusual experiences, changes in behavior or mood
  • Have been treated with psychiatric medication in the last one year

Participants in this study will receive psychiatric evaluations, routine physical exams, lab work and all study-related medication at no cost.
