Trial Information

Summary: A Phase II, Multicenter, Prospective, Observational, Open-Label Study to Evaluate the Safety and Efficacy of AMD3100 (240ug/kg) Added to a G-CSF Mobilization Regimen in Poor Mobilizing Adult Patients Who Have Previously Failed Stem Cell Collections or Collection Attempts

You are being asked to participate in this research study using the investigational (experimental) medication called AMD3100. You may be eligible to volunteer for this study if previous attempts to collect your stem cells were not successful, and your doctor feels you are a good candidate for this study. The purpose of this study is to evaluate whether giving AMD3100 with G-CSF will help enough stem cells to leave the bone marrow  and enter the blood stream so they can be collected.  This study will evaluate the safety, number of days required to collect enough stem cells for transplant, length of time required to reach engraftment (when the transplant begins producing blood cells) and the quality of the engraftment.  Your participation in this study is expected to last up to 20 days for treatment and approximately 1 year after your transplant for follow-up.
