Summary: Male Hot Flash Study

We are currently recruiting men aged 18 and older for a research study to determine the effects of an investigational medication in men with hot flashes as a result of their prostate cancer therapy.

To qualify for the study you must at least meet the conditions listed below:

  • Males, 18 years of age or older
  • Experiencing moderate to severe hot flashes for the past 30 days
  • Treating prostate cancer by one of the following hormone treatments:
    • Have had a bilateral orchiectomy (removal of both testicles) or
    • Using a stable dose of hormone therapy medications

As a qualified study participant, you will receive at no cost:

  • Study-related physical and lab exams
  • Study medication
  • Compensation for your time and travel
