Summary: An 8 week medication study for generalized anxiety disorder

A new medicine is being tested to determine if it is helpful to people with generalized anxiety disorder. Safety and tolerability of the medicine will also be assessed.

Patient Inclusion Criteria

  • 18 years or older with a diagnosis of Generalized Anxiety Disorder

Patient Exclusion Criteria

  • Major depressive order within last 6 months
  • Bipolar or psychotic disorder
  • illicit drug use confirmed by urine test
