Summary: Stress urinary incontinence - Female-Adults

Females with Stress urinary incontinence are asked to participate in a research study being conducted by Mount Sinai School of Medicine.

You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:

  • Are Female at least 21 years of age
  • Has agreed to undergo implantation of the Remeex TRT (tension free readjustable tape) system

You may not participate in this study if you:

  • Has had 4 or more previous incontinence procedures
  • Has a current urinary tract or vaginal infection
  • Has pre-existing bladder/pelvic/chronic pain syndrome
  • Has blood coagulation disorders
  • Has had radiation therapy to the pelvic area
  • Have a history of pelvic cancer
  • Are pregnant, breastfeeding, or intend to become pregnant during the study
  • Have participated in another research study within the last 30 days
