Summary: Dose Ranging Study to Assess the Efficacy and Safety of LX201 Implantation for the Prevention of Corneal Allograft Rejection Episodes or Graft Failure in Subjects Who Have Experienced One or More Rejection Episodes Following Penetrating Keratoplasty

Mount Sinai School of Medicine is currently conducting a research drug study of LX201 to evaluate its safety in implantation in the eye for the prevention of corneal allograft rejection episodes or graft failure in subjects who have experienced one or more rejection episodes following penetrating keratoplasty

You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:

  • Are at least 18 years of age
  • Have had a cornea transplant and subsequently experienced a graft rejection episode within the last 6 months.

You may not participate in this study if you:

  • Have a history of more than 3 graft failures in the eye to be studied.
  • Are pregnant, breastfeeding or intend to become pregnant during the study
  • Have received an organ transplant
  • Are HIV positive
  • Have uncontrollable glaucoma
  • Have participated in another research study within the last 30 days
