Summary: Studying, Evaluating BNP for Monitoring in Patients with Heart Failure

NYU Medical Center is conducting a study to see if the use of a BNP blood test will help the doctor in the management of therapy for people with heart failure.

You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:

  • Are at least 18 years of age

You may not participate in this study if you:

  • Are pregnant or intend to become pregnant during the study
  • Have active cancer treatment
  • Have plans for cardiac surgery within the next 12 months
  • Have participated in another research study within the last 30 days
