Trial Information
Summary: A Treatment of Unresectable Hepatocellular Carcinoma with TheraSphere (Yittrium-90 Glass Microspheres): A HDE Treatment Use Protocol
You have been asked to be treated using TheraSphereŽ because you have a cancer of the liver (hepatoma). Surgical removal of the tumor is not possible because of the location and/or extent of your tumor. The purpose of this protocol is to provide access to TheraSphereŽ treatment to subjects with liver cancer who cannot be treated by surgical removal of the tumor. Information will be collected for research purposes about response to treatment and side effects. Your treatment and active monitoring on this is expected to last 30 days for each treatment you receive. After your treatment on this is over, your medical condition will be followed on this for up to two years.
