Summary: A Randomized Double-Blind, Placebo- and Active-Control. Parallel-arm, Phase III Trial with Controlled Adjustment of Dose to Evaluate the Efficacy and Safety of study drug Extended Release (ER) in Subjects with Moderate to Severe Chronic Pain Due to Osteoarthritis of the KneeDo You Have Chronic Pain Due To Arthritis of the knee? We are conducting a research study for people at least 40 years of age who have moderate to severe chronic pain due to osteoarthritis of the knee. The study will require up to 14 office visits over 18 weeks. Compensation is provided for travel expenses. All study related exams, lab work, and the research medication is provided at no charge.
