Summary: Effect of age on insulin mediated regulation of ghrelin

UVa Health System, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Endocrinology, seeks healthy, non-smoking men and women ages 60 years and older for a clinical research study to learn more about aging, appetite, obesity, and diabetes.

Participants will receive a physical exam and blood tests. Two overnight admissions to the General Clinical Research Center over 4 weeks are required.

Compensation is $150 dollars at completion of the study.
