Summary: Systemic Lupus Erythematosus
People with Systemic Lupus Erythematosis (SLE) are asked to
participate in a research study being conducted by North Shore Long
Island Jewish Health System.
You may be eligible to participate in this study if
you:
- Are between the ages of 18 and 70 years old
- Have a diagnosis of SLE
You may not participate in this study if
you:
- Have liver disease
- Are HIV positive or have Hepatitis B or C
- Are pregnant, breastfeeding, or intend to become pregnant
during the study
- Have participated in another research study within the last 30
days
- Have allergies to shellfish
- Have received any type of vaccination within 30 days of study
participation.
