Summary: Expanded Access Program (EAP) of Maraviroc
NYU School of Medicine is conducting a research study to help
give people another treatment option where there are limited or no
other options available because of resistance or intolerance of all
currently approved HIV medications.
You may be eligible to participate in this study if
you:
- Are at least 18 years of age
- You are HIV positive and treatment-experienced
- You require maraviroc as a treatment due to limited or
nonexistent treatment options as determined by your doctor
- You have an HIV-1 RNA of 1000 or more copies/mL
- If you are a woman able to have children, your urine pregnancy
test must be negative prior to the first dose of study
medication
Other entry requirements must be met. All eligible subjects will
receive maraviroc at no cost. Maraviroc will be taken with the best
combination of currently approved medications for you as determined
by your doctor. You will need to pay for these additional
medications.
