Summary: Study of the Antiviral Activity of Entecavir in Patients Receiving Liver Transplant Due to Chronic Hepatitis B Virus Infection
New York University Medical Center is currently conducting a
research drug study to evaluate entecavir in subjects receiving
liver transplant due to chronic hepatitis B virus infection.
You may be eligible to participate in this study if
you:
- Are at least 18 years of age
- Orthotopic Liver Transplant (OLT) patients with end-stage liver
disease due to chronic HBV infection.
You may not participate in this study if
you:
- Are pregnant, breastfeeding or intend to become pregnant during
the study
- Are a multi-organ or retransplant recipient
- Have participated in another research study within the last 30
days
