Summary: Carotid Stenting and Angioplasty in patients at high-risk for endarterectomy
Long Island Jewish Medical Center is looking for volunteers to
participate in a research study to assess the outcome of stenting
in the treatment of obstructive carotid artery disease
You may be eligible to participate in this study if
you:
- Are at least 18 years of age
- Are a high surgical risk patient
You may not participate in this study if
you:
- Are pregnant or intend to become pregnant during the study
- Have participated in another research study within the last 30
days
