Summary: Preeclampsia - Women

Women with preeclampsia are asked to participate in a research study being conducted by NYU Medical Center.

You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:

  • Are female at least 16 years of age
  • Gestational age 10 to 16 weeks

You may not participate in this study if you:

  • Have had an organ transplant
  • Preexisiting Proteinuria
  • Use of anti-retroviral medication
  • Known active illicit drug abuse or Methadone maintenance
  • Have participated in another research study within the last 30 days
