Summary: A Multicenter, Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled Trial to Assess the Efficacy and Safety Of 100mg/Day and 300mg/Day Lacosamide for Migraine ProphylaxisCarolinas Headache Clinic is conducting a research study to assess the effectiveness and safety of an investigational medication as a prevention of migraine headaches. We are looking for men and women, ages 18 to 65, with an average of 2 - 8 migraine headaches a month, who may be interested in participating in this study. There will be up to 10 office visits and 5 phone calls over 25 weeks. All study related medications, labs, and office visits are at no charge to participants.
