Summary: Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)

North Shore University Hospital is looking for volunteers for a research study to see if the study drug is effective in preventing COPD exacerbations when is given by a pressurized device that helps deliver a specific amount of drug to the lungs.

To be eligible to participate in this study you must be:

• Less than 40 years old
• A current or previous smoker
• Must be diagnosed with COPD for more than 2 years

You are not eligible to participate if you:

• Have a history of asthma
• Have any heart disease
• Any other respiratory disease
