Summary: Research Study for Chronic Constipation

Chronic Constipation?
We are conducting a clinical research study for men and women who suffer from Chronic Constipation. All office visits, medical evaluations, and investigational medications or placebo related to this study will be provided at no cost to the participants.

Volunteers Must

  • Be at least 18 years of age;
  • Have less than 3 bowel movements per week;
  • Have had a colonoscopy;
  • Be able to complete a daily phone questionnaire during study participation.

Key Research Study Details:

  • Length of study participation is approximately 10 weeks.
  • Number of clinic visits is approximately 6 visits.
  • Odds of receiving investigation medication are 4 to 1.
