Summary: Type II Diabetes - Inhaled Insulin for the Control of Blood Sugar
A clinical research study is evaluating an investigational
inhaled insulin.
Have you been told that your blood sugar is outside the range it
should be even though you are taking oral medication? Better
control of your blood sugar may mean more energy to do the things
you want to do.
A clinical research study wants to find out if adding an
investigational formulation of inhaled insulin at mealtime to a
program of oral medication will provide better control than otal
medication alone for people with Type II Diabetes
To qualify, you must:
- be at least 18 years old
- have a diagnosis of type II diabetes
- have taken oral medication for 2 months or more
- have been a non-smoker for at least 6 months
