Summary: Boys & Men with Autism/Aspergers 16-25: Participate in Brain Imaging
Researchers at Boston University School of Medicine are using
MRI to study auditory language processing in individuals with
autism. We are seeking boys and men ages 16-25 years with autism or
Asperger’s syndrome for this research study. Participation involves
cognitive testing, practice in a pretend brain scanner, and the
MRI.
Each participant will receive a picture of his brain and be
compensated $50.
Patient Inclusion Criteria
- 16-25 years of age
- Males
- Right handed
- English is first language
Patient Exclusion Criteria
- Diagnosis of other genetic disorders
- Non-removable metal in/on body
