Trial Information
Summary: Study of Acute Anxiety Disorder in Adults (18 years and older). This is a 10 week, double-blind study requiring 11 visits to our medical facility. Patients must not be on other psychiatric medication or have other psychiatric diagnoses.
Anxiety study for adults suffering from Generalized Anxiety
Disorder. This study is seeking to determine if a certain
medication helps reduce symptoms of anxiety
Patient Inclusion Criteria
- Patricipants must be adults 18-65 years of age and have a
documented diagnosis of GAD (generalized anxiety disorder). Female
patients must not be pregnant and must use a reliable form of birth
control.
Patient Exclusion Criteria
- Patients with a presence or history of a major psychiatric
disorder will be excluded from the study.
- People who have had a history of significant coronary artery
disease, seizure disorder, stroke, hepatitis,as well as HIV will
not be allowed to participate in this study.
