Summary: Dose-Escalating Study in Patients with Treatment Resistant Idiopathic Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis (FSGS)

Schneider Children’s Hospital is looking for volunteers to participate in a research study with Focal segmental glomerulosclerosis FSGS. This is a condition, which affects how well your kidneys filter your blood

You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:

  • Are at least 18 to 70 years of age
  • Have a influenza (flu) vaccine
  • A biopsy confirmed as FSGS

You may not participate in this study if you have any of the following:

  • Diabetes Type I or II
  • Are pregnant/lactating or intend to become pregnant during the study
  • Prior organ transplantation, including kidney transplants.
  • Evidence of active Hepatitis B, C or HIV infection
  • History of Cancer or precancerous state
  • Have participated in another research study within the last 30 days
