Summary: Volunteers Needed for Parkinson’s Disease Research Study
Researchers at the University of Kentucky, Department of
Neurology, are conducting a study of the impact of creatine, an
investigational drug, on slowing the clinical decline in patients
with Parkinson’s Disease.
You may qualify for this study if you:
- Have been diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease within the last
five years;
- You have been using medication to treat the symptoms of
Parkinson’s Disease for more than 90 days but less than two
years;
- You have no unstable medical conditions; and
- You are not intolerant to creatine.
Qualified participants will receive all study-related laboratory
and clinical evaluations and the research medication without
charge.
