Summary: Child Studies: Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
A Phase IV, Multi-Center, Open-Label Study of Daytrana ™,
Methylphenidate Transdermal System (MTS) to Characterize the Dermal
Reactions in Pediatric Patients Aged 6 - 12 with
Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
We are currently conducting a 14-week research study in children
with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). People who
suffer from ADHD can experience difficulty paying close attention
to details, make careless mistakes, fidget with their hands or
feet, lose things necessary for tasks, have difficulty organizing
tasks and/or talk excessively. If your child is suffering from
ADHD, you may be eligible to enroll them in this research
study.
To be eligible to participate, your child
must:
- Be between the ages of 6 and 12
- Be in good health
- Meet criteria for ADHD
- Have no skin allergies that would prohibit wearing a patch
containing medication
All study related clinic visits, testing, and study medications
are provided at no cost.
