Trial Information

Summary: This research study will evaluate the safety and effectiveness of an investigational medication for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease taken once daily versus placebo (an inactive substance).

This will be assessed by various memory tests. The study will last 6 weeks in which there will be 8 visits required to our office. Compensation for time and travel may be provided.

Inclusion Criteria

  • Age 55 or older
  • Experiencing Mild to moderate memory problems
  • Reliable caregiver to attend visits with individual

Exclusion Criteria

  • Living in a nursing home or a skilled nursing facility
  • History of stroke
  • Currently experiencing any unstable medical conditions
