Trial Information

Summary: Healthy Volunteers are needed for a University of Pennsylvania research study of risk factors for cardiovascular disease.

Volunteers are needed for a research study evaluating the effects of a drug. Three outpatient visits and one inpatient stay (2 days, 3 nights) at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania are required.

Qualified participants will be paid $1,100 for completing the study and receive free study related examinations.

Patient Inclusion Criteria

  • Volunteers must be age 18 - 40, healthy and must not use tobacco.

Patient Exclusion Criteria

  • Body Mass Index (BMI) less than 18.
  • Body Mass Index (BMI) equal to 30 or greater.
  • Current use of tobacco.
  • Current use of large amounts of alcohol.
