Summary: Asthma Study

Official title:
A phase IIIB multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study of XolairŽ in subjects with moderate to severe persistent asthma who are inadequately controlled with high-dose inhaled corticosteroids and long-acting beta-agonists.

Condition being studied:
Persistent Asthma

Inclusion/Exclusion Criteria:
You may qualify to participate in this research trial if you:

  • are between the ages of 12 and 75
  • have a history of moderate to severe asthma for at least one year requiring use of corticosteroids
  • have asthma symptoms and have required prednisone in the past year

If you qualify for this research trial you may receive:

  • Study medication at no cost
  • Compensation for time and travel
