Summary: Cervical Cancer Survivorship among African American and Latina Survivors

You have been asked to participate in this research study because you are a cervical cancer survivor.  Your name was provided by a cervical cancer registry (the Los Angeles County Cancer Registry, Desert Sierra Registry, or City of Hope Cancer Registry), and 1 to 3 years have passed since your diagnosis.  The purpose of this study is to describe the cervical cancer experience of African American, Caucasian/ European-American, and Latina cervical cancer survivors and look at the impact of job strain and family duties on depression, anxiety, family functioning, and use of follow-up cancer-related care. A second purpose is to compare two interventions for helping cervical cancer survivors cope with stressful events connected with cervical cancer.  Your participation in this study is expected to last between 12 and 15 months.
