Trial Information
Summary: Unverricht-Lundborg Disease (ULD), a genetic form of epilepsy - Adults
People with Unverricht-Lundborg Disease (ULD), a genetic form of
epilepsy are asked to participate in a research study being
conducted by New York University Medical Center Comprehensive
Epilepsy Center
You may be eligible to participate in this study if
you:
- Are at least 18 years of age
- Have been diagnosed with ULD and proven by genetic testing
- Participated in the NO1125 protocol study
You may not participate in this study if
you:
- Are currently taking the following medications: Felbamate,
Phenytoin, Vigabatrine or any drug with possible central nervous
system effects
- Have a history of suicide attempt during the last 5 years
- Are pregnant, breastfeeding, or intend to become pregnant
during the study
- Have participated in another research study within the last 30
days
