The U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved Oregonon's Follistim (TM) (follitropin beta for injection), the first recombinant follicle-stimulating hormone available in the U.S. for the treatment of infertility. Follistim works by stimulating ovaries to produce one or more eggs during each treatment.
