Overview: The American Melanoma Foundation (AMF) was founded to address the need for new treatment options in melanoma, one of the most serious of all cancers. The AMF provides support for basic research for new treatments in melanoma and contributes to the general community with education and awareness programs. Overview: The Angel Care--Breast Cancer Foundation, a non profit, provides free emotional care to newly diagnosed breast cancer patients. Trained volunteers, all survivors, serve as role models, providing hope and encouragement.

We focus on providing one-on-one emotional care. Volunteers are available to accompany patients to treatments, share information about coping, the power of prayers, and how a positive attitude can help to survive. We are committed to at least six contacts with each referral.

Presently, volunteers cover the greater Puget Sound area of Washington.

Overview: The National Lung Cancer Partnership (formerly Women Against Lung Cancer) is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization, originally formed in 2001, and officially incorporated in 2003. Overview: SHADE Foundation of America is working to create sun-safety attitudes
in society, especially in our youth. Developing responsible sun attitudes at an early age can eliminate the alarming statistics that continue to increase. Skin Cancer is the most common form of cancer in the US with more than 1 million new cases diagnosed each year. Approximately 92,000 will be melanoma, the most deadly form of skin cancer.
