Center Overview

Bayou City Research Corporation is a private facility devoted entirely to full-time research in the areas of psychiatry, psychology, neurology and endocrinology. The studies are supported in part by the extensive private practice of its Principal Investigator, Matthew N. Brams, M.D., as well as from sources both private and public. Research patients who enter the trials receive on-going medical monitoring, medication and long-term follow up through the practice.

Clinical Research Experience

For more than 12 years, Principal Investigator, Matthew N. Brams, MD has directed Phase I-IV psychiatric clinical trials for many of the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies. He is Board Certified in Child and Adult Psychiatry.

Through a network of referring physicians, Bayou City Research has built a robust and comprehensive patient database for assembling ideal populations to meet sponsors’ goals. Dr. Bram’s rigorous standards have continued to attract a global roster of sponsors who recognize his commitment to patient care and exacting execution of clinical trial protocols.

We strive to educate and nurture our volunteers so that they maintain a healthy lifestyle and complete each study. Volunteers are thoroughly screened to match all research inclusion/exclusion criteria and carefully followed throughout the entire study period by highly trained research professionals.
