Kansas City Gastroenterology and Hepatology is an outpatient, community based practice. KCGI is affiliated with an independent endoscopy center. Kansas City Research Institute opened a 20 bed Phase I Unit. KCRI with KCGI offers:
- Small bowel capsule endoscopy
- Upper and lower endoscopy
- Endoscopic ultrasound
- Liver biopsy
- Advanced biliary endoscopy
Bradley L. Freilich, M.D. has more than 16 years experience conducting Phase II, III, and IV clinical trials. He is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
S. Faisal Jafri, M.D. has 4 years experience in clinical research and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology..
Janay A. Kissinger, APRN, BC has 14 years of clinical research experience as both a sub-investigator and clinical research coordinator. She is certified as an adult nurse practitioner and a member of ACRP.
Laurie Lynn has 6 years of experience as a clinical research coordinator. She is IATA certified.
Suzanne Herd has 8 years of experience as a clinical research coordinator. She is IATA certified.
Kelly Vargas has 10 years experience as a clinical research coordinator. She is IATA certified.
Kansas City Gastroenterology and Hepatology has a practice database of over 50,000 patients. KCGI also receives referrals from Gastroenterology, Internal Medicine, and Primary Care practices throughout Kansas and Missouri.
Kansas City Research Institute utilizes a central IRB.
