Felicia serves as a full-time, on-site research subject recruiter for Innovative Clinical Trials. Felicia has a background in phlebotomy and was Dr. McCarroll’s private practice Medical Assistant until she moved into the research field. Felicia proved to be a terrific advocate for her patients, and showed a desire to learn research, so the transition from private practice to research was a natural step for her. Felicia is an effective member of the research team-she prepares pre-study potential subject lists, maintains the research database, and works side-by-side with the coordinators and Principal Investigators for all recruitment efforts. She contacts, prescreens, and schedules all subjects, both outbound and inbound calls from potential subjects, and provides weekly reports to the Administrator. Felicia also assists in developing recruitment plans, organizes health fair participation, and has recently begun stepping into a research assistant role.
We recruit study subjects from our large database of clinical and research practices. We also utilize print, TV, radio and web ads. Our website offers information about our current clinical trials.
