Mount Nittany Physician Group provides primary and specialty physician care with 14 practices in 11 locations throughout Mifflin, Huntingdon and Centre counties.
Mount Nittany Physician Group - Urology (formerly State College Urologic Associates) has one focus: improving the urological health of our patients with sensitivity and expertise. Charles Dalton, MD; Howard Miller, MD; David Oselinsky, MD can diagnose and treat virtually every kind of urological condition, including conditions affecting the reproductive system and the prostate.
In 2004 our office added a Clinical Research Department to be able to offer our patients further alternative treatment options with the newest investigational medications and treatments being researched today.

Our research department has extensive experience in Phase II -

Our primary office is conveniently located in the heart of State
College, within walking distance from the University Park Campus of
Penn State University. The University Park Airport in State College
is approximately a ten (10) minute drive from our office. Our
office is located in close proximity to numerous restaurants, and
hotels. We are just minutes away from the Bryce Jordon Center which
features many attractions including sporting events, and concerts.
In addition to serving the State College area, we also have a satellite office in Lewistown, PA.
Our office is an outpatient services facility in which we
provide a full range of urologic services including prostate
ultrasound and biopsy, vasectomy, cystoscopy, brachytherapy,
cryosurgery, and urodynamics. Our office is equipped with 14
patient exam rooms, a large, comfortable waiting room, a separate
laboratory, and on site phlebotomy.

Our investigators have been actively involved in research since 2003, and have participated in more than 40 clinical research trials over the past 8 years.
All of the physicians are board certified urologists by the American Board of Urology. All physicians are members of the American Medical Association, and the American Urological Association as well as belonging to a variety of other urologic related organizations.
Karen Smith, RN, CRA, CRC has more than 14 years of full time clinical research nursing experience. An experienced Senior Clinical Research Associate (CRA), she previously worked as a research monitor. Karen posesses extensive experience in clinical research in phases II, III, and IV, and in numerous therapeutic areas for many indications, including: Lung cancer, Breast cancer, Prostate Cancer, Ovarian Cancer, Testicular Cancer, Colon Cancer, Prostatitis, Overactive Bladder, Hypogonadism, Post-op Pain, Chronic Pain, Hypertension, Diabetes, Asthma, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteoarthritis, Sjogren's Disease, Fibromyalgia, and Gastric Ulcers. She has conducted clinical research in both the hospital setting as well as private/group practice, and is experienced working with, both local IRB, and medical ethics committees, as well as central IRBs.
Mount Nittany Physician Group - Urology is located in State College, in the central Pennsylvania region. Our patient population drawing area covers about an 80 mile radius in all directions. This radius covers a very large geographic area which includes numerous surrounding counties and cities.
State College, Pennsylvania is the home of Penn State University, which hosts Big Ten Sporting events and various multi cultural events. State College also hosts one of the Pittsburgh Pirates affiliate minor league baseball teams "the Spikes" and is also home of Central Pennsylvania's Festival of the Arts. For other entertainment, the Bryce Jordan Center is within walking distance and it offers year round sporting events and concerts.
