Accord Clinical Research, LLC was formed in 2006 in partnership with Accel Clinical Services, LLCAccord is a private dedicated research facility that specializes in a wide range of Gastrointestinal and Multi-Therapeutic studies. Our center is staffed by Board Certified Gastrointestinal and Internal Medicine Physicians, owning a private practice in an adjacent office

Clinical Research Experience

Our professional staff is dedicated to meeting the needs and timelines of our clients. The clinical staff at Accord provides expertise not only in gastro-intestinal studies, but experience in multi-therapeutic indications as well. Our physician investigators bring over 45 years of combined research experience to our studies. Our team is dedicated to offering accurate screening and assessment, and providing cutting edge treatment and medical management to our patients.

Our entire staff prides itself on providing rapid study start-up, expeditious, precise project management, and timely protocol completion.

  • Our proficient submission techniques enable us to receive approval and initiate studies within a week of receipt of final protocol.
  • Our unique tracking system ensures an accurate chain of custody for critical documents as well as investigational substances.
  • We utilize one of the most innovative and dynamic clinical trials management systems which enable our staff to quickly identify even the most difficult patient populations and carefully track our patients throughout the study. In our constantly changing industry, where accuracy is vital, information is sensitive, and timing is crucial, this highly effective data management system is invaluable.

Facility Description

Our comfortable outpatient center offers warm surroundings and top quality patient care. Our physicians are highly recognized in the medical community. Our dedicated research facility includes:

  • 3 exam rooms
  • Laboratory
  • ECG & Blood Pressure Monitors
  • Locked Drug Storage
  • -40 Freezer and dry ice storage

Our adjacent private practice has over 20,000 square feet of medical space with full gastrointestinal procedure facilities and includes:

  • Preperation rooms
  • Endoscopic procedure rooms
  • Recovery room with 6 post-operative beds
  • X-ray suite

We are conveniently located in Port Orange, Florida close to Daytona International Speedway, Daytona Airport and Daytona Beach.

Investigator Experience

Our investigator staff is among the finest in the industry.

DONATO R. RICCI, MD - Dr. Ricci is Board certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. He is currently on the National Hepatitis Advisory Board. Dr. Ricci has been conducting research since 1986.

GREGORY J. STELLA, MD - Dr. Stella is Board certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. Dr. Stella is Chief of Medicine Staff at Halifax Medical Center. Dr. Stella has been conducting research since 1996.

SUNIL P. PASRICHA, MD - Dr. Pasricha is Board certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. Dr. Pasricha has participated in several research studies.

LOUIS AGNONE, MD - Dr. Agnone is Board certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. Dr. Agnone is member to many professional organizations and committees.

HARRY MOULIS, MD - Dr. Moulis is Board certified in Gastroenterology Dr. Moulis has been conducting clinical research since 1996.

ROBERT M. MOSCA, DO - Dr Mosca is Board certified in Family Medicine. Dr Mosca has conducting clinical research for three years and has a diverse background in many indications.

Staff Expertise

Lori LaChapelle, CMA, CCRC, Site Director, has over 15 year’s experience in the medical field as a Certified Medical Assistant and over 10 year’s experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator and Manager. Ms. LaChapelle is supported by a full time coordinating staff and a full time recruiting staff on site.

Patient Demographics

The Port Orange area is highly diverse demographically. We are surrounded by a community of families, college and university students and highly active retirees. Port Orange is a community characterized by a stable and successful business climate which develops, nurtures, and embraces quality businesses. We have access to a very large patient database.
