South Florida Research Institute (SFRI) is an independent clinical research site integrated with a large Internal Medicine/Nephrology private practice, and a network of over 20 physicians in private practice. We have an extensive database of subjects interested in clinical research participation that have demonstrated exceptional compliance.

Clinical Research Experience

SFRI is composed of qualified Investigators, nurses, and study coordinators with over 35 years of combined clinical research experience. SFRI is committed to deliver efficient and timely clinical data in adherence with FDA regulations and GCP guidelines. In addition, our computerized system and customized software efficiently helps track recruitment, patient appointments and study visits & financial records

The staff has been thoroughly trained to negotiate the budgets and contracts, process IRB submissions and continuing reviews, coordinate the trials, process the regulatory paperwork, complete CRF’s, respond to sponsor queries, manage monitoring visits from sponsors, oversee billing process, work with departments and PI’s collaboratively to ensure all study-related needs are being met

The institute is located in the heart of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, next to Florida Medical Center. It is just 15 minutes away from Ft. Lauderdale International Airport and able to provide the following:

Investigator Experience

The center prides itself with board-certified/eligible specialists dedicated and experienced in medical research. There are 5 full-time experienced clinical research coordinators. Investigators and coordinators alike have very focused approach in conducting clinical trials, with adherence to Good Clinical Practice principles cognizant of the FDA guidelines. The personnel have published papers in popular scientific journals.

Patient Demographics

Our geographic area is comprised by a wide range of age, gender, and ethnic background. Our population is mainly adult over 20 years old.

Our computer data base system allows us to track eligible candidates by demographic information and other screening criteria, therefore we are able to respond to study enrollment requirements quickly.
