Center Overview

St. Vincent’s Cardiology Southside is a Cardiology practice associated with the St. Vincent’s HealthCare Systemwith ten Cardiologists (all F.A.C.C.), two Cardiology Nurse Practitioner, and a Cardiology Physician Assistant.The Practice is committed to the highest level of excellence both in medical care and patient services. Since 1976, the physicians and staff have been meeting the needs of patients throughout North Florida and South Georgia, with a diversified patient population of over 20,000. The group practiceis at St. Vincent’s Hospital Southside.

We have completed over 140 clinical trials since 1999. Our research philosophy is based on a commitment to our patients to provide them with comprehensive quality care, the latest treatment alternatives, and assist with their financial burden for health care.

St. Vincent’s Cardiology’s Southside office is easily accessible and adjacent to a major medical center. The cardiovascular services available at our main office are:

Staff Expertise

We have six full-time and one part-time Research staff with extensive medical and clinical research experience. All researchers and staff have had training in GCP, HIPAA privacy policies and compliance, and clinical staffare IATA certified. Three out of five coordinators have obtained CCRC certification and the other twoare working toward certification. Staffincludes a full time Regulatory Affairs Coordinator.

Patient Demographics

The population in Jacksonville exceeds 1,000,000. The age distribution is approximately 30% under age 18, 60% between 18-64, and 10% 65 and older.
