Eastern Carolina Women's Center is a busy Private Practice of 7 OB/GYNs and 2 GYN physicians located in New Bern, NC. We are the only women's health care specialist facility in a Tri-County area that serves primarily 110,000 people and secondarily 300,000.
ECWC maintains a prospective research subject database, and
draws patients from the community as well as from our physician
referrals. The database is representative of the area demographics
comprised of Caucasians, Hispanics and African Americans.
Our Principle Investigator is a member of ACRP, is board certified in his specialty, and recently became a Certified Physician Investigator through ACRP. We have one Certified Coordinator. Eastern Carolina is serviced by Carolina East Medical Center, listed among the Top 100 Best Hospitals. There are currently no other entities that are solely devoted to clinical research, and we feel confident that we can provide an excellent source for pharmaceutical and device trials.
