Gulf Coast Research is a well respected and established clinical trial management organization with two (2) state-of-the-art locations in Louisiana. The primary center, which also contains a 55 bed Phase I “Inpatient Facility” is located in Baton Rouge Louisiana. The second full service facility is located in Lafayette LA. Our company specializes in managing all aspects of study protocols, including Investigator selection, subject recruitment, and coordinating. The Baton Rouge office centralizes all initial study start-up for both centers in Louisiana. We have a full time Regulatory Manager, Contracts and Budget Department, Quality Assurance Department, Marketing and Patient Recruitment Department, Licensed Pharmacy with IV Preparation Equipment, and a fully equipped laboratory preparation area. Our experienced staff of clinical pharmacists and registered nurses have delivered quick start up and successful patient recruitment for CROs and Sponsors since the summer of 2000. Our Certified coordinator staff has over 24 years of combined clinical research experience, while the entire CRC department has over 40 years of combined clinical trial experience in all medical specialties.

Our Phase I Center is a state of the art facility with the ability to monitor up to 55 subjects at a time over a 24 hour or longer period.

We offer investigator site management services to the pharmaceutical and medical device industry. Sponsors receive centralized study agreement and budget management for multiple sites. Our experienced coordinators actively participate in each study we manage and coordinate for local investigators. Our staff is experienced in utilizing Remote Data Entry and we have the technology and equipment to accommodate RDE studies.

Gulf Coast Research , LLCis located ¼ mile from a 70+ Multi-Specialty Physician Clinic and near Three (3) large Medical Centers with a combined bed capacity of over 1,300 beds.

Facility Description

Gulf Coast Research, LLC’ primary office is located at 7049 Perkins Road, Baton Rouge LA, 70808, with a second office location at 314 Audubon Blvd, Lafayette, LA. 70503 . We manage and coordinate multiple sites from both our locations. CRFs, Regulatory Binders, Investigator & Sponsor Contracts, Shadow Source Documents, lab specimen preparation, drug storage, and a monitoring area is maintained at both facilities. We have a Phase I facility which holds up to 50 subjects for PK, PD, Tolerance & Drug/Diet or Drug/Drug Interaction trials. We also have a full service Clinical Laboratory and Pharmacy on site. We only work with investigators who know that they can recruit the enrollment goal for each study we introduce to them.
