within close proximity of a local hospital and multiple medical practices.

Tami Helmer, MD , Principal Investigator received her doctorate of medicine
from the University of Minnesota. Her residency training was in Internal
Medicine at the University of Minnesota Hospital and Clinics. Dr. Helmer
has published articles in peer-reviewed journals. She has performed
numerous studies in the following areas: bladder disorders, diabetes, lipid
disorders, menopause, obesity, osteoarthritis and vaccines.
Larry Kotek, MD , Sub Investigator is Board Certified in Family Practice.
Dr. Kotek received his doctorate of medicine from the University of
Minnesota. He fulfilled his residency at St. Mary's Hospital in Duluth,
MN. Dr. Kotek has performed numerous studies in the following areas:
bladder disorders, cardiovascular disorders, diabetes, heartburn, lipid
disorders, medical devices, menopause, obesity, sexual dysfunction and
vaccines.
Radiant Research Minneapolis combines the expertise of three
family practice physicians, an endocrinologist, a cardiologist, and
a site director. The center's six clinical research
coordinators, two of whom are RNs, have over 100 years of combined
experience. The study management team also includes a receptionist,
a regulatory specialist, a recruitment specialist, a registered
dietitian, a phlebotomist, and three research assistants.
