Radiant Research-Santa Rosa was founded in 1999. Conveniently located just 2 miles from downtown Santa Rosa and immediately off a highway exit, the site is located 1 mile from Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital. The site is over 4,800 sq. feet, and includes five exam rooms, two dedicated monitor rooms, conference room and lab. High speed internet connections are throughout the office and each staff member has easy access to their own computer. Physician specialties include Interventional Cardiology, Urology,
Dermatology, and Internal Medicine.
While having a population of about 156,000, Santa Rosa maintains a small
town feel. The surrounding towns and cities combine with Santa Rosa to
make a population of 478,000 potential Radiant subjects! 71% Caucasian,
20% Hispanic, 4% Asian, 2% Black, 2% Other, 1% American Indian. There are
direct flights from Seattle, LAX and San Diego to Sonoma Country's Charles Schultz Airport.

Efficient information systems, incorporating an integrated
participant database and clinical trials management system used by
all Radiant Research sites.
Stephen W. Halpern, MD, Medical Director has conducted clinical trials
since 1990. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and the
subspecialty of Cardiovascular Disease. He is a Fellow of the American
College of Cardiology. As an accomplished writer, Dr. Halpern has
published a number of scientific papers and articles in peer-reviewed
journals.
Sanjay Dhar, MD, Principal Investigator is Board Certified in
Cardiovascular Disease, Echocardiography, and Internal Medicine. A Fellow
of the American College of Cardiology, he has been conducting
interventional cardiac and device trials with Radiant Research since 1999.
Kenneth Stein, MD, Principal Investigator is a Board Certified
Dermatologist. Dr. Stein received his medical degree from Temple Medical
School in Philadelphia, PA. He has published over twenty articles in
peer-reviewed journals and has participated in numerous studies in the
areas of acne, actinic keratosis, common warts, herpes-labialis,
onychomycosis, psoriasis, rosacea, seborrheic dermatitis, tinea pedis and
tinea versicolor.
Robert James, MD, Principal Investigator is Board Certified in Urology.
Dr. James received his medical degree from the University of Michigan
Medical School. He has published articles in peer-reviewed journals and
has participated in studies in nocturia and erectile dysfunction.
Jeremy Juriansz, MD, Principal Investigator received his medical degree
from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in Loma Linda, CA in Internal
Medicine. Dr. Juriansz has published articles in the peer-review journals
in the area of Urology and Cardiology/Electrophysiology and has been
involved in numerous clinical studies with Radiant over the past few years
Allan Bernstein, MD, Principal Investigator is Board Certified in
Neurology. Dr. Bernstein received his medical degree from State University
in of New York. His areas of experience include Alzheimer’s Disease,
epilepsy, migraine, post-herpetic neuralgia, stroke and stroke prevention.
He has published articles in peer-reviewed journals.
The center employs five experienced clinical research
coordinators including a RN, EMT and three CCRCs. The dedicated study management team also includes a recruitment specialist, lab tech and an administrative assistant.
