Facility Description

Radiant Research, Kansas City originated from the University of Kansas Medical Center Lipid and Arteriosclerosis Prevention Clinic. Today Radiant Research-Kansas City is located in Overland Park at the Cloverleaf buildings where Shawnee Mission Parkway and Metcalf intersect. The center is located in a suburban area within fifteen minutes of the downtown area and within thirty-five minutes of the airport. The site has immediate access to fully operational multi-specialty settings, complete with state-of-the-art equipment, trained technicians, and health professionals who collaborate with the site.

Investigator Experience

Cong Zhao, MD, Sub-Investigator is Board Certified in Preventative/Occupational medicine. Dr. Zhao received her medical degree from the Shangdong Medical University in China. Possessing a strong dedication to clinical research, Dr. Zhao has performed numerous clinical trials across a wide array of indications including: obesity, endometriosis, post menopausal, premature ejaculation, NSAID safety, nocturia, diabetes, and vaccines.

Staff Expertise

The Kansas City site is staffed with six highly trained and experienced clinical research coordinators. They have an average of 15 years clinical experience. The study management team consists of a regulatory document specialist, two part-time participant recruitment specialists, a research office administrator and a site director.
