Facility Description

Radiant Research, Greer is housed within 6,500 square feet of dedicated research space in a private office park. Studies are conducted in clinics and private practice offices located in the Greer/Greenville area. The site is approximately seven miles from Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport.

Investigator Experience

W. Travis Ellison, MD, Medical Director has conducted over 200 clinical trials since 1987. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and received his medical degree at Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. Dr. Ellison maintains a large practice and has extensive clinical experience in Cardiology, CNS, Endocrinology/Metabolism, Gastroenterology, Musculoskeletal, Vaccines and Women’s Health.

Michael Billings, MD, Principal Investigator is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and has been conducting trials since 2004. Dr. Billings received his medical degree from the Bowman Gray School of Medicine of Wake Forest. He has conducted numerous studies in the following areas: acne vulgaris, COPD, dementia, diabetes, fibromyalgia, gout, headache-migraine, herpes labialis, hypertension, insomnia, lipids, obesity, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, pain-chronic, post herpetic neuralgia, psoriasis and restless leg syndrome.

Nigel Patrick Delahunty, MD, Principal Investigator is Board Certified in OB/GYN and has been conducting trials since 1998. He received his medical degree from the UMDNJ Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Dr. Delahunty maintains an active private practice. He has completed studies in numerous areas such as contraception, endometriosis, fibromyalgia, herpes-labialis, hormone replacement therapy, hot flash, muscle strain, obesity, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, ovulatory menorrhagia, pain-chronic, post-menopausal, premenstrual dysphoric disorder and vaginal atrophy.

John Humeniuk, MD, Principal Investigator is Board Certified in Dermatology and has been conducting trials since 1993. He received his medical degree from the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Dr. Humeniuk has a private practice and has published articles in peer-reviewed journals. He has experience in the following areas: acne, atopic dermatitis, herpes-labialis, onychomycosis, photo-damaged skin, psoriasis, rosacea, seborrheic dermatitis, tinea pedis and tinea versicolor.

Staff Expertise

Radiant Research - Greer employs seven full-time coordinators, with a total of over 50 years of combined clinical trial experience. Four of the coordinators are CCRCs.
