Facility Description

Radiant Research-Akron was established in 1982. The center’s new convenient downtown location occupies 5,740 square feet of dedicated research space. It includes six exam rooms, CLIA-certified laboratory, 4 private monitor rooms and high speed internet connection. The site is in close proximity to area businesses, hospitals, procedural clinics, the Akron health department and a major university. From Cleveland Hopkins Airport in Ohio, the site is forty miles. From Akron-Canton Airport, the site is twelve miles.

Investigator Experience

Hassan Malik, MD, Principal Investigator, is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Dr. Malik graduated from Ross University School of Medicine and completed his residency at The Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Dr. Malik has conducted 40 clinical trials in the fields of diabetes, diabetic peripheral neuropathy, fibromyalgia, GERDS, herpes labialis, high cholesterol, hypertension, insomnia, migraines, obesity, osteoarthritis, nocturia and post-herpetic neuralgia.

Dr. Margaret Rhee MD is Board Certified in OB GYN. Dr. Rhee graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and completed her residency at The Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati Ohio. Dr. Rhee has conducted 29 clinical trials in the fields of endometriosis, osteoporosis, alopecia, female sexual dysfunction, weight loss, OAB, dyslipidemia, DPN, asthma, hypertension, allergy, Biologics, IBS, Gout, onychomycosis, diabetes, migraine, vaccines and CV outcome studies.

Jeffrey J. Klein, MD is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Dr. Klein graduated from The University of Cincinnati Medical School and completed his residency at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Dr. Klein has conducted 25 studies in all of the above mentioned indications.
